Why our bags carry names from the sea
Share
Every family of bags has a French word from the coast. We chose quiet words, for bags you keep. Each one tells you a little about the shape.
Houle, the swell
The hobo. A soft curve that moves with you, like a long wave.
Brume, the mist
The soft shoulder. Light in the hand and easy on the shoulder.
Rivage, the shoreline
The east-west. Long and low, a clean line from side to side.
Marée, the tide
The work tote. It carries your day in and out again.
Havre, the harbor
The mother tote. A safe place for everything you bring along.
Brise, the breeze
The small crossbody. Your phone, your cards and your keys. Nothing more.
