The grain you see is a fine, even pebble. It gives the leather a soft, matte look, and it hides the small marks that every day leaves behind: the edge of a desk, the strap of a seatbelt, the floor of a car.

That is why most of our totes and crossbody bags come in this finish. A bag you carry five days a week should not ask for special care, and this one does not.

Small marks do not shout on pebbled leather. They settle into the grain and become part of the surface, so the bag keeps its composure instead of looking worn after one season.

Living with it

Caring for pebbled leather is simple. A wipe with a soft, dry cloth is usually enough. If it gets caught in the rain, let it dry on its own, away from heat. Once in a while, a small amount of leather cream keeps the surface supple. The goal is only to keep it clean and ready.

This is why pebbled leather is in the bags meant for workdays, school runs and late trains: the ones you reach for again the next morning.
